Manfred Klunke
Manfred Klunke is a deputy member of the board of Gartenbau-Versicherung VVaG.
Mr Klunke's areas of responsibility comprehend in particular European activities and projects.
The graduate engineer was born in 1958 in Selm (southern Münsterland). It was here that he completed a horticultural apprenticeship in floriculture, thus gaining his university of applied sciences entrance qualification through evening classes. His basic military service was followed by a degree course in horticulture at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.
Manfred Klunke has been employed at Gartenbau-Versicherung since 1982. For many years he has worked in the executive sales force with an emphasis on consultancy/risk management and claims settlement. An appointment as authorised agent taking charge of the field organisation followed. After that he became head of the claims department with power of procuration. 2007 saw his appointment as deputy director in operations, also becoming responsible for the management of cross-departmental projects, the coordination of the work of the board members and further work in the area of corporate development and control. in October 2010 he was appointed deputy member of the board of Gartenbau-Versicherung.
